performance test?

Suppose I tried a different compilation scheme in GCJ and wanted
to test the performance penalty. Do any of the testsuites support
some kind of statistic reports? If yes, how do I turn it on? In other
words, I want to see how much slower the executable (compiled
from test java source code by the modified compiler) runs. If not,
it seems that I'll have to either change the testsuite or come up
with my own testcases. Is that so?
