wrong list maybe but why can't I subscribe to java-patches?

This is either a bug in the gcc ml-request script or a bug in how
sources.redhat.com is set up, take your pick.
We have both /qmail/lists-sourceware/java-patches and
/qmail/lists-gcc/java-patches. The former is a symlink to the latter.
This code in ml-request can't handle both directories:
 if [ -d /qmail/lists*/$listname ]
Anybody care if I just remove the symlink? Or should I fix ml-request
instead? If I remove the symlinks (there are two) the old
java-patches@sources and java-prs@sources lists will go away.
