gcj - java/io/InputStream.java:0: Internal error: Segmentation fault

Fixed Ant so that it did not require "sun.misc.BASE64Encoder" and
removed Sun rt.jar and libgcj.jar from the class path ...
got the same error:
GNU Java version 3.0.2 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)
 compiled by GNU C version 3.0.2.
java/io/BufferedInputStream.java:0: Internal error: Segmentation fault
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.

I will now try Tom Tromey's suggestion.
One question: I am using version 3.0.2, would it help to upgrade to
the latest snapshot?
