I love my J2SE and I love my GCC 3.0.2 ("Now With Java"(TM)). Neither 
suck. And I don't believe Sun will produce a native edition of Java. 
What would be lovely is for them to 'open-source' J2SE. They said they 
would 'when the time is right'.
