java on cygwin?

Nothing at the moment. AFAIK, none of the libgcj developers do cygwin builds
on a regular basis, so its difficult for us to test patches like that. If you
try it and it works for you, please let me know and I'll check it in.

Not that I am aware of. libgcj has definatly worked on cygwin in the past, so
it shouldn't be difficult to fix. libgcj has also been built on "native"
(no-cygwin) win32 in the past, but that configuration is buggy/incomplete and
probibly doesn't work out-of-the-box right now.
