My patch to make the Java libraries build with multilibs on PPC
enables -O2 as a side effect. This apparently triggers bugs in gcj.
I'm still looking into this to make sure it is really the -O2 and not
something else though.
Still, that is the only barrier, and it is one we should fix before
3.0 is released anyway.
