Yeah, I don't think Kevin checked in his PPC libffi changes yet. Maybe
he's waiting for Tom to approve it. There was an additional patch to the
ppc backend required to make it work correctly.

I don't see a reason not to check in the libffi patch immediately, even
if the backend problem is still there.

So, what is the proper fix here? Should we just make this the default
for PPC?
