JVM core dump

Hello,
I am using JVM on UNIX SVR. I get a core dump when 3 to 4
instances of same class are running using java. I get
sigmentation violation and address location is within
libc.so.1. In most cases,
the faulting assembly instruction is either memcmp or jb _cerror.
However the occurance of SIGSEGV is inconsistant. If my java
applications runs for 15 minutes then it surely occurs.
I am using green threads in JVM.
1. Is there a known problem with green threads while
handling Signals such as SIGIO ?
2. Is there a problem with green threads to pthreads
interface ?
