The last time a gcj copyright assignment was filed, it took seven
weeks to bring the process to completion. It might just be the
standard time.

That will be a little short. I'm going to send email to the FSF clerk,
but I believe he's only the first stop. Are the patches ready? You
don't need a copyright assignment to write patches and send them to
the list.
