That seems like the right thing to do.
This reminds me... perhaps "gcj -shared" should automatically add "-lgcj" so
proper library dependencies are established in the .so. I think this is
important for RPM, for instance. I don't fully understand all of the
issues - but perhaps someone who does can comment...
