Should we build a superset of Java?

No one has defined a way.
Sometimes GNU extends languages. They've done this with both C and
C++. Sometimes these extensions are useful, sometimes they are lame.
My inclination for Java is not to add extensions. We have a hard
enough time writing a compatible subset. However, I wouldn't say that
I'm absolutely against it. If a "must have" extension comes along, we
could add it.
