Where did you get it from? 
Did you build it and install it yourself?
What OS are you running?
Type ``gcj --version'' and tell us what it says.

You have gcj but not libgcj. Most of the power of the Java language
comes from its extensive library: without libgcj, gcj won't work at
all.
