config.guess is breaking, perhaps because it can't find a C compiler.
Try configuring gcc with --host=hppa1.0-hp-hpux10.20

Most are supported by gcc. Libgcj is a little more problematic, since there are
a few bits that are non-portable. In particular, I don't think libffi has an HP
port yet.
