OK.. I just downloaded a snapshot of GCC and libgcj from CVS. GCC installs fine
but I can't get libgcj installed.
I get the following..
------------
java/lang/System.java: In class `java.lang.System':
java/lang/System.java: In method `class$(java.lang.String)':
java/lang/System.java:1: Missing return statement.
// System.java
^
1 error
make[1]: *** [libgcj.zip] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/rsync/projects/libgcj/build/i686-pc-linux-gnu/libjava'
make: *** [all-target-libjava] Error 2
------------
I looked at System.java but didn't find anything wrong. All methods returned
the correct variables and those that didn't were native. Also it says that the
error occured at the first line (1) so that doesn't make sense because it is a
comment.
