OK, here's something you can try. Go to the fastjar source directory,
nuke Makefile.in and generate it with the foreign and included
dependencies flags:
	$ rm Makefile.in
	$ automake -i -foreign
Then reconfigure fastjar in its build directory and restart the build.
./A
