FAQ -- building snapshots?

OK, so I really want to have _good_ info on this available.

Minimally I'd like to see a FAQ entry like this:
Q: I need something more recent than the last release; how
 should I build it?
A: See <URL>. [ where URL is initialized with a copy of the
 message above, and can be updated -- hangs off LIBGCJ site ].
Is "--enable-java-gc=boehm" required? I thought Boehm was the
default. Also, "--prefix=..." is optional (default /usr/local is
perfect for me) ... and "libgcj.spec" copying SHOULD be unneeded.
