Not to be a troll, but isn't that what happens when you give the source, as a 
colleague of mine put it recently? Look at, e.g., KDE vs. Gnome. Things are 
never "pure" enough.
Oh well, the end result is still useful and welcome. Duplication hurts the 
duplicators, mostly.

It seems like there's going to be an awful lot of duplication of effort 
between kaffe and Cygnus..
