Web page spinning
Hello. I'm trying to set up a pi to transit it's screen as a home page. It's a pi 5 bookworm with a custom image (job related). If it were hooked up to a monitor it would show data for employees. It's running headless. The goal is to have an external vendor connect to it using a vpn. their access would see the web page 24 hours a day. They want to set up multiple pc's to the show the page (I know -shared has to be set). I had the vnc connection working but the web page wouldn't load. I can get to the system via putty. Due to many attempts that I've tried, I'm now lost. I'm not a coding expert so I've tried Chatgpt and Copilot. Both appear round-robin the answers back to the previous pi 4 OS. Is there a straight forward instruction page for bookworm to set this up?
Re: Web page spinning
Is the Pi running a web server (Apach2, nginx etc.) to show the "data for employees" or something else?
When you connect via PuTTY to the Pi, is that over the internet of on your local LAN?

My emphasis.
Normally that's a huge red flag for me but...

VNC over a VPN to view a web page.
Would it not be easier to skip VNC entirely and have the Pi proxy/NAT the connection to the web server?
Knowledge, skills, & experience have value. If you expect to profit from someone's you should expect to pay for them.

Do you mean VPN, or VNC?
If you are showing the information on the Pi 5 with a webserver then the VPN ought to work. If you are showing the information via an app on the desktop, and sharing the desktop view via VNC then you're doing it wrong.
Oh no, not again.
