15" touchscreen for Raspberry pi 5

Mon Dec 01, 2025 11:56 am

Hi,

Im new to raspberry pi's and want to set up a wall panel kiosk for Home assistant.
For this I want a 15" touchscreen that works with the raspberry pi 5 I have.

There are a lot of touchscreens on amazon that advertise compatibility with raspberry pi but when you dive deeper, the touch functionality doesn't work with a Pi, only the display.

I would have thought I wasnt the only one who wants a touchscreen of this size but all lists i can find online of suggested screens, they are all 10" max.

Any suggestions are really appreciated.

I have a Hannspree HT161HNB 15.6" TFT HD Touchscreen Monitor (1366x768) which works for left click with RaspiOS out of the box, but I couldn't get it to do any more than that with RaspiOS.

It's a 10 point touch monitor, but RaspiOS doesn't seem to work properly with it, only giving left click, seemingly, very disappointing....
