Re: questions on the voltage of the 5V GPIO pin
There is no such thing as a "5V GPIO pin" !
The nominal output voltage of a GPIO pin is 3.3Volt!
Voltage drop of the power supply is mainly caused by the
cable between the PSU and the RPI, that is why the oficial PSU outputs 0.1Volt extra to compensate this (5.1 Volt).

Re: 48V Voltage Monitor HAT (Stackable)
True, you cannot legally call your device a HAT as each cannot have an EEPROM on it , please read the specifications for a HAT. but you CAN stack two voltage monitors if you use male/female headers for your board its just not legally a HAT, HAT's cannot be stacked!
While I hate to argue with ...

Re: [solved] Pi4B Recently Drops WiFi
Well, turns out I don't need any more ideas. Now the Pi refuses to connect via either WiFi or Ethernet. It boots, but neither network interface will establish a connection with the router. In other words, problem solved by bricking the Pi.

Re: small beeping sound from pi when i connect to battery
Is the buck convertor or the pi making the beep ?
the sound is coming from the pi.
As the RPI has no component meant to produce sound (no speaker or buzzer) the comment "the sound is coming from the PI" is meaningless.
you need to find out where the sound is actually coming from! There ...

You probably formatted the sd cards wrong (with ntfs, the PI expects FAT32) go to the boot problem sticky in beginners for more info

Re: Raspberry Pi 3B sporadic power cycling
The output of 5.1 volt of the official PSU is NOT a "fault" but a design choice. under normal circumstances this will result in 5.0Volt at the PI's regulator, due to normal losses in the USB cable and connectors.

Re: External Antenna connector type on CM4
With a gain of 3dB more than the official RPL antenna, I suspect the first of these antenna may take CM4s above the legal WiFi level in Europe. Best to check with one of your engineers at least.or you might get into trouble!

Re: How to Install Linux Software on Raspberry Pi 5?
Yes, you can install linux software on a raspberry PI that has raspberry PI OS installed, but you have to realise that x86 Linux applications WON'T RUN! as a raspberry PI does not have an INTEL/AMD CPU but instead uses an ARM CPU, but most applications have been re-compiled for ARM.
so you have to ...

Re: Do RPi's have a limited lifespan?
IMHO the main reason for RPI's stopping working is NOT the PI itself, which cannot overheat, as it will slow down to protect itself from overheating. The most common part that stops working is the sd-card, which do have a limited lifespan, depending on their use. Every memory flash cell has a ...

yes, even when you think it works fine, at the same time it might corrupt your sd-card content! so don't gamble it wil be fine,, and later complain that it doesn't boot "just like that".
