Here's the fix for AirPrint. Confirmed working on 10.6.5. There is no workaround currently for Windows operating systems. This fix requires both the 10.6.5 update and a networked printer.
*Note: This is not an official fix. Some printers may not be compatible. Generally, printers connected to a Mac via USB will work with AirPrint, though this is not true for all printers.

Use one of the following applications to print:
AirPrint Hacktivator: (http://netputing.com/airprinthacktivator/)
Printopia: (http://www.ecamm.com/mac/printopia/)
FingerPrint: (http://www.collobos.com/)
- Download the file at the following link: http://cl.ly/3BmD
- Unpackage the .zip to reveal a folder with some codesheets and a readme.
- Drag the codesheets to their places using the instructions in the readme. You will need an administrator's password for this step.
- Go into System Preferences -> Print & Fax
- Remove from the list any printers you want to use on AirPrint.
- Restart your Mac.
- Go back into System Preferences and re-add any printers you want to use with AirPrint.
- Test, verify here, and troubleshoot with me if you need to.
