Hello, I'm an English learner in South Korea.

While reading a novel 'Walk the Blue Field' written by Claire Keegan, I came across the expression below:

There's the expense, the sentiment, the no going back.

Is this usage a kind of emphasis even though it's ungrammatical? Cause I've learned that the article the cannot be used in front of a determiner. If I use this expression in daily conversation, can it be accepted as a natural one?
