Open Watcom in Fortran Wiki

**Open Watcom** is a project of the open source community to
maintain and enhance the Watcom C, C++, and [[Fortran]] cross
compilers and tools.
In 2003, the Watcom C/C++ and Fortran compilers were released as an open source project under a new name, Open Watcom.
Open Watcom is open source software, available under the
[Open Watcom Public License](http://www.openwatcom.org/index.php/Open_Watcom_Public_License)
which allows free commercial and non-commercial use.
The 17 January 2023, the Open Watcom Team announced the development of Open Watcom will start again.
