interpulse

interpulse

(in -ter-pulss) The weaker pulse of radio emission received after the main pulse and before the next main pulse in the signals from some pulsars. The presence of an interpulse may indicate that we are seeing radiation from both magnetic poles of the pulsar.

Doublet (interpulse duration was 6 ms apart) torques and post activation potentiated torque were measured and recorded on the HUMAC Norm dynamometer that was interfaced with the BIOPAC MP150 data acquisition system.
Atrial-selective [I.sub.Na] block occurred following trains of pulses elicited over a range of pulse durations and interpulse intervals in canine myocytes.
Thus, circulating GH levels in men comprise 2-4 peaks per day with very low interpulse levels, while in women there is a higher frequency of pulses (>7 peaks/day) with significantly elevated interpulse levels (Figure 1) ([22-25]; reviewed in [20, 21]).
These are the intrapulse coherence condition, which requires existence of coherence within the pulse width, and the interpulse incoherence condition, which necessitates that it must be such that there is no coherence between signals in consecutive pulses to avoid interference of the backscattering from adjacent pulses.
The stimulator output never exceeded 80% and participants received no more than 20 total pulses in total, with an interpulse interval kept to at least 5 seconds.
It can be viewed as an interpulse modulated pulse compression waveform in which modulation is applied across the pulses instead of within individual pulses and provides a high range resolution capability by producing a detailed target range profile and a detailed two-dimensional image of the target when coupled with SAR/ISAR.
The interpulse interval (IPI) used in this study (80 ms) was sufficiently short that the second H-reflex of the pair was recorded from a partially contracted muscle.
