Different disciplines have their traditions and conventions, and little thought is given in the standard literature to these divergent approaches and the problems of
interconversion. In all fields, a "concentration" is considered to be the ratio of (i) chemical and (ii) the surrounding system.
However,
interconversion among arsenic species, especially the conversion of arsenite into arsenate, was observed.
Based on this knowledge, strategies to prevent tumor remission should carefully consider not only eliminating potential aggressive CSCs and EMT cells within the tumor but also targeting those signaling pathways responsible for the
interconversion capacity of non-CSCs to new CSCs and mesenchymal cells via EMT activation.
Although our used cluster model is small, other local configurations different from ours may be more favorable for the
interconversion.
This procedure has been applied for two different polymeric structures, and the simulation results seem to be stimulating for further establishing a method of
interconversion of viscoelastic functions.
In the nanoparticulate form, cerium adopts a fluorite crystalline structure with both [Ce.sup.3+] and [Ce.sup.4+] coexisting on its surface and hence, the
interconversion of oxidation states generates greater number of oxygen vacancies on the surface of nanoceria which are actually sites of catalytic reactions [10,11].
Interconversion of three differentially modified and assembled forms of BiP.
One of the markers of cellular damage present in saliva is lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), an oxidoreductase enzyme which catalyzes the reversible
interconversion of pyruvate and lactate.
The carbonic anhydrases (CA), members of the zinc metalloprotein family, are enzymes which catalyze the
interconversion of carbon dioxide and water to bicarbonate and hydrogen ions.
For the retinol equivalent, the conversion ratio of 12 g of [beta]-carotene was considered to correspond to 1 Rae (Retinol Activity Equivalent) established by the Institute of Medicine
Interconversion of vitamin A and carotenoid Units (Nap / IOM / FNB) (Nap, 2001).
As shown in Figure 3, the angles of 180[degrees] and 360[degrees] are exactly when the
interconversion between discharge and suction happens.
Specific kinases (mainly AMP-dependent kinase, AMPK) [8] are responsible for the
interconversion of phosphorylated and unphosphorylated HMGCR.
