The energies of LUMO of three dye molecules are lower than the conduction band energy of Ti[O.sub.2] (-4.00 eV), which indicates that electrons can be successfully injected into Ti[O.sub.2] from the
excited state of dye molecules.

To calculate the orbital
excited state masses (1P-5P, 1D- 4D, 1F-2F), we have considered all possible isospin splitting and all combinations of total spin S and total angular momentum J.
