The OCP business supplies printable media and other products, whereas the DES business manufactures custom pressure-sensitive labels and coated films for durable goods, electronics and specialty packaging.

The venture will be named DuPont OCP Operations Consulting, and both companies will each hold 50 per cent of its share capital.

Unlike traditional industry consortia where there may be closed door secrets, the OCP was launched with transparency as a key factor.
