Busani

a lake in the Buriat ASSR, on the Vitim plateau, on the southern foothills of the Iuzhno-Muia Range, in the tectonic valley of the Tsipa River. Area, 36.8 sq km; maximum depth, 10 m. It has a tributary—the Mogoi River. The bottom of Lake Busani is covered with a thick outgrowth of waterplants, and it is rich in plankton and fish.
