Aim
[edit ]This WikiProject aims to, in general, increase the quality of all articles related to Railways in India by expanding them, simplifying them and by adopting a standard and easy structure over them.
Scope
[edit ]The scope of this project fundamentally is loosely defined as all articles and sections relating to Railways in India. Almost all of these will be (eventually) categorised under below categories.

Importance rating
[edit ]Both of the banners require the user to specify an importance paramater. The available options to choose from and the condition in which to use them are given below. Important: Do not add different/conflicting importance parameters for both the banners. In simple words, if a page has both the banners, they both must have the same importance rating.
Please note that the importance ratings for WikiProject Trains is different. It is strongly advised that the importance scale of WikiProject Trains be consulted with when changing the overall importance rating through the {{TWP }} banner.
