Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It commenced yesterday on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over 3300ドル going into it, with 500ドル the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! Feel free to invite others who you think might want to contribute.♦ Dr. Blofeld 09:04, 17 June 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

Your articles are amazing. Lengthy and very well sourced. I always enjoy seeing them whenever I check new created articles on the topic area. Plus they cover Romanian tradition and folklore, which is generally neglected on Wikipedia. Just wanted to pass by to say this. Keep the good work! Thanks and regards, Super Ψ Dro 00:11, 27 October 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

Thank you for your feedback! I'm trying to do justice to a subject I'm passionate about, as it's neglected indeed or even distorted on Wikipedia (for example, in the RU language version). I have more articles in Russian, and I normally create versions for the RO, EN, and UK sections if corresponding articles don't exist yet. I guess this is good motivation to translate more of them :). Regards, Iurii.s (talk) 05:45, 27 October 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
Thanks, your work goes appreciated, no matter on what Wikipedia it is, since once the article exists it can be translated by whoever, even if not by the author themselves.
Thanks as well for translating an article for the fifă! I wanted to ask you, I am not familiar with this area of expertise, but it'd seem to be the title should feature the diacritic based on the Romanian Wikipedia article's title and the Romanian language template on the article here, which one is more WP:COMMON? Just in case you didn't know, in English Wikipedia (since I know it can be different in projects on other languages), the policy is to title an article after the most common way to refer to a topic. Do you think the version with or without the diacritic is more common? Regards, Super Ψ Dro 00:57, 28 October 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
I believe your'e right. Article name changed. Thanks for pointing this out. Iurii.s (talk) 05:40, 28 October 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

Thank you for another great article! As it happens, the name of my topic for today is also also Iurii, Iurii Iushkevich. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:29, 26 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

Thanks for the appreciation! Which one, by the way? I’ve had a few new articles lately. Interesting — I didn’t know about that countertenor. Looking forward to seeing the article! --Iurii.s (talk) 13:01, 26 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
Today, Romanian traditional music (I thought that was clear by the placement.) I've seen the violin article on DYK, will review if I need a qpq and nobody beat me to it. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:45, 26 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
I am also fond of my last one - Songs to the dead. I hesitated for a long time to write about this, not an easy topic for me. Iurii.s (talk) 07:07, 27 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
Excellent, and opening a new world for me. Try to get the See also shorter, best by integrating the naked links into links from the article prose where they are relevant. - I'll read in more detail when I'm done with my morning routine and the articles today, focusing on one who died. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:45, 27 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
All "See also" section was added by another user and it does look to big :). Not sure yet how to better deal with it, I'd prefer connecting topics via categories. Iurii.s (talk) 09:00, 27 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]
