Unless I'm missing something, I wasn't trying to vandalize the Wikipedia logo page. As I mentioned in my latest edit summary, the sentence was worded awkwardly, so I fixed it. - OpalYosutebito 『talk』 『articles I want to eat』 16:33, 27 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

@AltoHampton, what do you mean by "it showed vandalism on it"? On the one edit I saw made by OpalYosutebito recently I did not see any other changes besides the copy edit change. When I looked at her edits, it showed that the edits were vandal. But it doesn’t show for you since I have the "Highlight likely problem edits with colors and an ‘r’ for ‘needs review’" preference turned on. AltoHampton mind if you need to talk to me? 17:11, 27 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

The key word in "likely problem edits" is likely -- you still have to check manually to see if it's vandalism before reverting. Keep in mind that vandalism is only content deliberately intended to disrupt the encyclopedia, not just edits that aren't that good or don't follow guidelines. 💫ΩmegaMantis💫 ^(he/him) ❦blather | ☞spy on me 19:13, 27 March 2026 (UTC) [reply ]

if you plan on finally improving kinemaster, this rfd's got a good few sources you can... probably determine the usefulness of more accurately than me and/or without falling asleep. also, if you're going to be doing that, it might also be a good idea to draftify it, or plop the "under construction" template at the top

Regarding Special:Diff/1348272454: Hangul and Chosongul are synonyms; the latter is the North Korean name for the alphabet. Why do you think that wi (위) is specifically from hangul?

Nonetheless, I think the article can refer to the script as Hangul, for the sake of brevity.

you are right about hangul and chosongul referring to the same script, but however, hangul is the more widely accepted name, while chosongul is an "alternate" name. not to mention the wikipedia article about the script is titled "hangul", and not "chosongul". Hi Alto. I'm Barkeep49. I hold several roles on Wikipedia and I'm pleased to meet you. I really enjoyed looking through your userpage. I was particularly impressed by your graphic design skills. The great thing about Wikipedia is that we're all here to create an encyclopedia. We also get to build connections to other editors while creating that encyclopedia. It is important, however, to keep the focus on the encyclopedia part and not the connections. I don't know if you've ever read What Wikipedia is Not but it has a section that talks about how we are not a social network site. With all this in mind, I have edited your userpage and would ask that you not put that content back (and in fact if you put some of it back, you might end up being blocked which I really don't want to happen).
