Basic goals, and structural changes:

• The idea behind this modification; to simplify and consolidate various portions of this nav box, in order to make this truly useful to others, both to new comers to Wikipedia, as well as existing editors wishing to gain greater familiarity and wider knowledge of multiple items and resources at wikipedia.
• To that end, we have made several changes designed to make this nav box more functional and simple, and to emphasize simple usability and informational content, in contract with various visual measures to make a nav box that "looks good."
• to that end:
  • Removed all "piped" links in names for groups below. the group name should simply actually identify the group. if a link is worth including, then it belongs amongst the other link; wehre it can easily be found and noticed by any average user or newcomer.
  • The group names have been greatly simplified, in order to make their function and content more easily apparent.
  • We have moved or rearranged links that were in the wrong category, or which were hard to group topically in their existing group.
  • we have renamed the "piped" name for several links, especially where the piped name was simply a duplicate of an existing piped link to an entirely different page.
