I aim to contribute to the creation and improvement of articles related to Peruvian and Latin American writers, literary studies, music, and musical styles. As I continue learning to use Wikipedia’s tools, I seek to rely on verifiable sources and maintain a neutral point of view, in accordance with Wikipedia policies.

Interests
[edit ]In literature, I read narrative works by Peruvian writers from the 1980s and 1990s, particularly within urban realism, such as Julio Ramón Ribeyro, Enrique Congrains Martin, Oswaldo Reynoso, Sebastián Salazar Bondy, Carlos Eduardo Zavaleta, Luis Loayza, Fernando Ampuero, Renato Cisneros and Jorge Valenzuela Garcés.
I also read international authors associated with contemporary realism, as well as movements linked to surrealism and existentialism, including Raymond Carver, Luis Mateo Díez, Eloy Tizón, Franz Kafka, Albert Camus, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Nikolai Gogol, Samuel Beckett, Jorge Luis Borges, Haruki Murakami and Vladimir Nabokov.
My musical interests focus on alternative and countercultural scenes, particularly genres such as punk, post-punk (1980s), indie rock, coldwave, darkwave, shoegaze, and late-1980s alternative rock.
I am also interested in abstract expressionism and darker artistic aesthetics. Artists of particular interest include Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Willem de Kooning, Franz Kline and Robert Motherwell, as well as figures associated with neo-expressionism and darker visual styles, such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Francis Bacon (painter), Anselm Kiefer, Zdzisław Beksiński, H. R. Giger, Odd Nerdrum and Clive Barker.
Recommendations
[edit ]A poem I particularly value is El guardián del hielo by José Watanabe, which reflects on the urgency of love in the face of life’s transience, as expressed in the line: "Love quickly —the sun told me— [...]".
A short story that has had a strong impact on me is Felicidad clandestina by Clarice Lispector, especially for its portrayal of an intimate and almost hidden sense of happiness: "For me, happiness would always be clandestine [...]".
