From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Speedy deletion nomination of :{}

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on :{} requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, as it exhibits signs of having been generated by an AI model with no clear human review. Text produced by these applications is prohibited on Wikipedia. For further information, see section G15 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think these signs were incorrectly identified and you assert that you did carefully check the content, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Additionally – if you would like to create an article but find it difficult, please ask for help at the Teahouse.

Speedy deletion notices

User pages
This template is used to notify users about pages that have been nominated for speedy deletion. Specifically, it is used for pages that have been nominated under section G15 of the criteria for speedy deletion, "Unreviewed LLM-generated content". This template is usually used in conjunction with db-llm ; for other speedy deletion notification templates see the table to the right.

This template is used to notify users who have created a page which exhibits one or more of the following signs which indicate that it could only plausibly have been generated by large language models (LLM) and would have been removed by any reasonable human review:

 • Communication intended for the user: This may include collaborative communication (e.g., "Here is your Wikipedia article on..."), knowledge-cutoff disclaimers (e.g., "Up to my last training update ..."), self-insertion (e.g., "as a large language model"), and phrasal templates (e.g., "Smith was born on [Birth Date].")
 • Implausible non-existent references: This may include external links that are dead on arrival, ISBNs with invalid checksums, and unresolvable DOIs. Since humans can make typos and links may suffer from link rot, a single example should not be considered definitive. Editors should use additional methods to verify whether a reference truly does not exist.
 • Nonsensical citations: This may include citations of incorrect temporality (e.g a source from 2020 being cited for a 2022 event), DOIs that resolve to completely unrelated content (e.g., a paper on a beetle species being cited for a computer science article), and citations that attribute the wrong author or publication.

Usage

This template should be substituted on to the user talk page of the author of the page that has been tagged for speedy deletion.

If this template is used on a page that did not previously exist (that is, if the user receiving the notice is new user), the template automatically includes a first article welcome message. This welcome can be turned off with the |nowelcome= parameter as described below.

Basic usage

Where PageName is the name of the page that has been tagged for speedy deletion.

Parameters

|nowelcome=
If this parameter exists, then the first article welcome message is not included, even if the page the notice is being placed on did not previously exist.
|header=
by default, the template adds a level two section header of "Speedy deletion nomination of PageName ". To suppress the header, use |header=no.
|header-text=
a custom value for the header text.
|demo=
if you are demonstrating the template's functionality, transclude the template rather than substitute it, and use |demo=yes. This will prevent the template from being automatically substituted by a bot.
|namespace=
this is the namespace of the page tagged for speedy deletion. For example, if the page is in the "Wikipedia" namespace then the value would be Wikipedia. It is not necessary to specify this parameter if the namespace is already included in the page name. If the page is in the main article namespace then this parameter should be omitted.

Examples

No welcome message

No header

Using a custom header

No welcome message and a custom header

No welcome message and no header
