The Vision
[edit ]I get the thing about the WandaVision credits and all that, but seeing "The Vision" here just seems weird. The distinction between "Vision" and "The Vision" is WP:JARGON that only a small subset of readers will understand, and it's also ambiguous — "Vision" is just shorthand for "the Vision", just like Batman/The Batman and Falcon/The Falcon, so both Visions are technically "the Vision". I think we should either use quotes or just "White Vision", considering the latter is already the common name and what was used in WandaVision's scripts. InfiniteNexus (talk) 07:01, 16 November 2023 (UTC) [reply ]
- I would be fine with just using "Vision" to refer to the character in the cast section and elsewhere as appropriate for those reasons and using ""White Vision" when we want to refer specifically to this reactivated version. Trailblazer101 (talk) 15:27, 16 November 2023 (UTC) [reply ]

- I have adjusted the name instances with what I think falls in line with this all. Hopefully that clarifies things. Trailblazer101 (talk) 06:28, 17 November 2023 (UTC) [reply ]

Vision Quest official title?
[edit ]Mary Livanos (time 19:13) and Brad Winderbaum (time 23:25) both said in this interview that the series was "Vision Quest" (削除) (also can use this Collider article for Winderbaum's comments) (削除ここまで). Should we move this back to that title? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:38, 3 September 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
- Potentially they are using it as a working title until the official one is settled on, but the way they both used it sounds pretty definite. I think we could at least say that Marvel was still referring to it by that name, if not move the article back. - adamstom97 (talk) 19:37, 3 September 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
- I think we should move it back to that name, and in the lead do:
Vision Quest is the working title(refs from THR on Spader's casting, plus Winderbaum's comments) for an upcoming...
(which would be similar to keeping DP&W at Deadpool 3 for as long as we did), and in the "Development" section between the Matalas and Spader info say:The series was still being referred to by Marvel as Vision Quest,(ref from Winderbaum's comments) though The Hollywood Reporter noted this was not its official title.(ref from THR on Spader's casting).
Thoughts? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:31, 4 September 2024 (UTC) [reply ] - Also, we should use this for Livanos's comments (in article currently as "Livanos" ref) and this for Winderbaum's (on the Nova draft). - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:24, 4 September 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
- Given two executives and producers of the show still use this title makes me confident in reverting back to it, even if it is just a working title for now. I have no problems with the wording you have suggested. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:13, 4 September 2024 (UTC) [reply ]
- Done. For some reason the talk page didn't move, so I've put in a technical move request to get that sorted. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 23:32, 4 September 2024 (UTC) [reply ]

Potentially renamed to just Vision? Rusted AutoParts 22:03, 6 February 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- We should see if any of the other trades report on this casting and see how they name the series. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 22:18, 6 February 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- I also don't think it is enough to go off of right now, because it does not explicitly say that is now the title and not Vision Quest. Trailblazer101 (talk) 22:43, 6 February 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- I agree that we should wait for a source to give an explicit title update as all the trades have been a bit vague since Vision Quest was said to be a working title. - adamstom97 (talk) 09:01, 7 February 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

- Seeming at the least with the T'Nia Miller report and now the Emily Hampshire report the Vision Quest working title's been dropped. Rusted AutoParts 16:55, 4 June 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- Given it has just been Deadline reports, I still think we would need adequate confirmation for this being a full title change. — Trailblazer101🔥 (discuss · contribs) 17:25, 4 June 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- Adding onto that, Variety notes "
The studio has yet to announce an official title.

Filming start
[edit ]Recently there's been some conjectural evidence that filming is underway. Stashwick posted that he's been filming in London, Bettany liked the post, an actor who has "Untitled superhero series" in their resume commented "Great working with you last night," and a crew member linked to Matalas commented "One week down." Matalas's posts also put him in London for the last few weeks. Going off these, and the timing lining up with the previously reported dates, I think it's safe to say that filming is underway. But since none of this can be used in the article, I went looking for something more concrete, which led me to this: Christopher J. Byrne, one of the directors, says on his website that he's "currently in production" with Marvel Studios. Could this be used for a move? We can always go the way of WP:NORUSH and wait for a proper article, but looking into said crew member's previous posts, it appears filming actually began late February, yet there's still no confirmation from an outlet, so it looks like it might be a while before we get something like that this time around. Aldwiki1 (talk) 00:20, 11 March 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- Without an uninvolved source definitively saying that filming has begun, and not pre-production work, I think it would be a stretch to call this confirmation at this time. I have not seen any of the production tracking sites such as Screen Daily, FilmLondon, or The Knowledge detailing this series' production. Trailblazer101 (talk) 00:52, 11 March 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- I agree that this could be referring to pre-production work and we probably need something stronger to confirm that filming is underway. - adamstom97 (talk) 00:57, 11 March 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- Stashwick said he's been doing night shoots and the other crew member said the same, which to me sounds like filming is actually taking place, but still, neither of those things can be referenced. Waiting for an article it is, then. Aldwiki1 (talk) 01:40, 11 March 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

- Screen Daily has just updated their "productions shooting in the UK" article and listed Vision Quest. Aldwiki1 (talk) 16:59, 14 March 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- Yup, that is good enough verification. While it does not specify when it started or exactly where, I will go ahead and prep the article for move. Trailblazer101 (talk) 17:28, 14 March 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

Vision Quest Title
[edit ]As I noted in the Production section, the working title of Vision Quest is ''Tin Man,''
Does that not mean the title itself is legit? The lead says it is a working title but as to my knowledge, you can't have two working titles simultaneously. Moreover, majority of reliable sources (THR, Collider, etc) continue using Vision Quest. Perhaps we could remove WT from lead? KBHWKFANATIC (talk) 04:14, 1 June 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- There are two definitions of a working title, or a tentative title, in filmmaking. Typically, the tentative title of a series is a placeholder title used before an official one is decided upon, but this is also called the working title. Another working title is an alias companies use to disguise the productions during filming, which is what "Tin Man" is referring to. The lead should probably say Vision Quest is the tentative title (though it seems Disney has now only called it Vision despite Marvel still calling it Vision Quest... — Trailblazer101🔥 (discuss · contribs) 04:49, 1 June 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
Logo
[edit ]I've uploaded the logo that has apparently released during Destination D23 this past weekend. I can only find unreliable twitter accounts discussing this (I check the Disney media site and no luck), but all of them do say it is official. I've put one of those tweets in the article, but we will need to replace it. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:03, 1 September 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- It wasn't released at D23. The only Marvel project discussed there was Doomsday where they showed a short clip with the Russos and Rudd. The logo is from a shirt a crew member was seen wearing on the set of Clayface. This is the original source: https://x.com/DevilsDefend/status/1962101333143523654 People just took it from here and edited it into a proper format. Aldwiki1 (talk) 18:15, 1 September 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- Yeah, that is why I was concerned about uploading it. The logo stemming from a leaked one on a sweater should not be used, and we especially should not be citing a social media post with misinformation for it. I think it is best to wait until a logo is officially released to use one, and the logo appearing on a crew sweater does not directly confirm that is the final title, considering Disney did refer to it solely as "Vision" back in May. I think we need more concrete confirmation still. — Trailblazer101🔥 (discuss · contribs) 21:59, 3 September 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- I have removed the mentions of this apparent logo revelation as being confirmation of the series' title because I do not think we can definitively say that when the tweets are misappropriating the source of origin for it. I think we should not even be using the leaked logo as it may be a copyright violation as it has not been officially released. I'm sure the series will be titled Vision Quest and this will be announced all in due time, but we should refrain from relying on such leaks and labeling them as confirmation when they are not. What I think happened is one account saw the Doomsday D23 info and the VQ logo and put two-and-two together and that spread. I doubt these account holders were actually at D23. — Trailblazer101🔥 (discuss · contribs) 22:07, 3 September 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
- I did find it odd that I couldn't find the logo on the Disney press site (I thought maybe they revealed it behind closed doors at D23). I'll go ahead and remove the logo and let the bots delete it as appropriate. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 14:36, 6 September 2025 (UTC) [reply ]
