Picture

[edit ]

Can someone change the picture? The guy's a real hero, and it's a bit disrespectful to show him at his worst, in my opinion. I have no doubts he probably reads his own page, now and again, and it's not nice to have such a personal/embarrassing picture on there.

It's like having a picture of William Shakespeare, sat on the toilet, taking a shit, as the bard's profile picture. I'm certain that event happened, every single day of his life, but it doesn't define who he is

The new image added here, for the second time in three days, is about 100 times better. Unfortunately it seems to have been copied without permission, or the necessary copyright statements, directly from the Daily Mirror here, where it's attributed to "Philip Coburn". So it's a direct violation of copyright. I've already reverted once.
Agreed its a terrible picture of him, however its a genuine one, -- Vicomte Guiy de Montfort L'Amaury 16:25, 26 September 2025 (UTC) [reply ]

Lazio transfer saga

[edit ]

The article claims the Gascoigne-Lazio transfer story dominated the tabloid press throughout 1991 however the source supporting this seems rather flimsy. Firestar47 (talk) 14:17, 26 September 2023 (UTC) [reply ]
