Anyone happen to find a public use photo of Stockman?

Dueling Economics

[edit ]

I got rid of the sections about Paul Volcker and Milton Friedman and Krugman because they had nothing to do with David Stockman. It is an article about the man not an economics debate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.227.89.207 (talk) 06:06, 13 October 2008 (UTC) [reply ]

This is a pretty lousy article - CITATIONS WOULD BE NICE FOR ALL THE PRONOUNCEMENTS IN IT. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.212.82.198 (talk) 02:16, 21 April 2009 (UTC) [reply ]

Reagan Years Post "Education"

[edit ]

The article offers nothing to explain what Stockman was doing between the 1981 article and his 1985 departure. It's a little hard to swallow his power waning and him becoming "disillusioned" after his first year and then skipping directly to his departure 3.5 years later. Anyone able to fill in that gap a bit?02:43, 23 October 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Czrisher (talkcontribs)

Thank you wikipedia

This article makes quickly clear who this person is and what weight should be given to his opinions. I don't know why since it makes perfect sense, but I was a little surprised at his background/education. 76.180.168.166 (talk) 08:07, 1 April 2013 (UTC) [reply ]

Study of theology from 1968 to 1970 would make perfect sense to a person who didn't want to be drafted and sent to Vietnam. Believe me, a lot of us considered that route. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.44.238.77 (talk) 02:34, 22 February 2016 (UTC) [reply ]

The will to live is quite powerful. It is probably even an instinct that not everyone can override (only the power of the gun can really override it). He writes regularly on russia-insider and I was surprised discovering him today. Never hurts to look at things from another angle, half insider, half outsider. 2001:8003:A921:6300:A50A:67F:E31A:AC54 (talk) 05:42, 2 August 2017 (UTC) [reply ]
