The Central Bank of Luxembourg (French: Banque centrale du Luxembourg [bɑ̃ksɑ̃tʁaldylyksɑ̃buʁ] , BCL; German: Luxemburger Zentralbank [ˈlʊksm̩ˌbʊʁɡɐtsɛnˈtʁaːlbaŋk] ; Luxembourgish: Zentralbank vu Lëtzebuerg) is the member of the Eurosystem for Luxembourg and was founded for that purpose in 1998, succeeding the Institut Monétaire Luxembourgeois.
