Summary
Diese moderne, stilisierte Wappenform ist seit mindestens den 1970er Jahren in Gebrauch und ersetzte die ältere, realistischere Darstellung des Stierkopfs aus den 1940er Jahren (vgl. Wappen Uri 1948.svg: ). Sie bleibt v.a. in Gebrauch auf Urner Kontrollschildern (Autonummern). Auch Hersteller von Kantonsfahnen im Digitaldruck bieten weiter diese Variante an, bei Alpenfahnen AG[1] und Keller Fahnen AG[2] werden die hier weiss gezeichenten Konturlinien in der Farbe des Feldes belassen. Die Darstellung ohne weisse Linien entspricht der in Mühlemann (1977). Die weissen Linien dürften ein Artefakt der (nicht-authoritativen) Bilder im pdf-Dokument des Fahnenreglements (Reglement 51.340 d) von 2007 sein, die für die Zwecke von Wikipedia um 2013/4 als "offizielle Wappendarstellungen" interpretiert wurden. Versandhäuser, die Kantonsfahnen im Digitaldruck anbieten drucken die Fahne inzwischen so (da sie die Druckvorlage von Wikimedia Commons beziehen).
Seit etwa 2000 wird diese Variante in privatem und behördlichem Gebrauch zunehmend verdrängt durch eine "historisierende" Darstellung nach den spätmittelalterlichen Kantonsbannern, vgl.
