English: Badge of the Democratic Army of Greece, which fought in the Greek Civil War of 1946-1949. The blue and white colours derive from the Greek flag, the letter Delta stands for Δημοκρατία, which means both "Democracy" and "Republic" in Greek.
Polski: znak partyzantów Demokratycznego Wojska Grecji, którą to nazwę własną równie wiernie można przetłumaczyć jako Republikańskie Wojsko Grecji, walczących w Greckiej Wojnie Domowej. Przedstawia nasze (greckie) barwy narodowe oraz wpisaną w nie literę "Δ", jak Republika (a po grecku: Dimikoratia). Większość bojowników (αντάρτες) DSE oddała za swe idee życie. Nazewnictwo, a także pisownię tej wojny z dużych liter, jednomyślnie określił Parlament Republiki Grecji, ustawą z sierpnia 1989 r.
