Anudril Firmware is Open_source software released under GPLv3 license. It is used by flashlight manufacturers to offer advanced functions.[1]
The software source code is freely available on GitHub where it was originated and currently maintained by user ToyKeeper.
Flashlights that use this software provide a complicated user interface with combinations of button clicks and button hold.[2] A map of function is depicted in this Anduril 2 UI diagram.
Flashlight brands that use Anduril for some of their flashlights are: Emisar, Noctigon, Sofirn, Wurkkos, Lumintop, Firefly.
Because it is open-source flashlight manufacturers will often modify the function slightly to either make some function easier, or add new features to suit their product, as evidenced by the product manuals from each manufacturer. A manufacturer will build the firmware from source. End-users may download the source and build it, or download prebuilt binary updates from Andurilify and install the software on their flashlight using an EPROM flasher.[3]
