History

Algonomy was formed through the merger of two retail technology firms:

  • Manthan Software – A Bengaluru-based cloud analytics and AI company.
  • RichRelevance – A San Francisco-based experience personalization platform.

On November 5, 2019, the two companies announced a joint go-to-market strategy and a path toward consolidation. The merger was completed on January 19, 2021, and the combined entity was rebranded as Algonomy.[2] [3]

In January 2022, Algonomy acquired Linear Squared, a Colombo-based AI firm specializing in demand planning and forecasting, to strengthen its supply chain capabilities.[4]
