Design

[edit ]

The AMT Auto Mag 440 was designed to fire the .440 Cor-Bon cartridge, due to it being based on the AutoMag V, its barrel also has a compensator ports to help keep muzzle rise to tolerable levels. It was made primarily of cast stainless steel, and was designed to accept a 5-round magazine.[2]
