Šarkan (Hungarian: Sárkányfalva) is a village and municipality in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.
History
[edit ]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1247.
Geography
[edit ]The municipality lies at an altitude of 131 metres (430 ft)[3] and covers an area of 13.63 km2 (5.26 sq mi) (2025).[4]
