Hi, I'm RedactedHumanoid. I noticed in a recent edit to Saint Patrick's Day Parade (disambiguation), you added maintinence templates to a disambiguation page. Disambiguation pages do not require citations or maintinence templates at all usually due to them simply being, well, disambiguation pages. Just thought I should let you know about this so you don't accidently do this in the future. Have a good day. RedactedHumanoid (talk) 20:01, 25 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up regarding the Saint Patrick's Day Parade (disambiguation) page! I appreciate the clarification. I'll be more careful with disambiguation pages in the future. Cheers! Sweetabena (talk) 08:43, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Electoral disputes
A tag has been placed on Category:Electoral disputes indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 22:36, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hi Sweetabena! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Kj cheetham (talk) 19:23, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for your note! The edit I marked as minor only removed stray quotation marks in the article title formatting.Sweetabena (talk) 04:51, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
- It was adding infoboxes, adjusting categories, etc. that got my attention rather than quotation marks, but not to worry. Keep up the good work overall! -Kj cheetham (talk) 08:53, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
Note that it is impossible to meet WP:GNG via entries in databases, no matter how reputable they are. Geschichte (talk) 11:46, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
- "participation in the Games itself confers presumed notability" is also blatantly untrue, unfortunately... Geschichte (talk) 12:24, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note. I see your point about databases and WP:GNG, and I’ll keep that in mind for future WP:AfD discussions.Sweetabena (talk) 18:09, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
Hello Sweetabena. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Okodie GH, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Sweetabena. The template {{Paid }} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sweetabena|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 06:20, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hello @Jeraxmoira, thank you for bringing this to my attention. You are right. I did edit the Okodie GH article with the expectation of compensation from the subject. I should have disclosed this earlier, and I apologize for not doing so. I have now updated my user page with the {{Paid}} disclosure template to reflect that I was acting on behalf of Okodie GH. Going forward, I will follow best practices by suggesting changes on article talk pages or using Articles for Creation, rather than directly editing articles where I have a conflict of interest. I really appreciate the reminder and for helping me align with Wikipedia’s policies.Sweetabena (talk) 08:25, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
AI use
I see you've previously been cautioned by @Greyfell and @Netherzone about not using AI on talk pages. This goes for project pages too, like Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Debabrata Sen. Please just use your own words to contribute. Jahaza (talk) 22:31, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hello @Jahaza My comments are written in my own words. I’d appreciate it if we could focus on the content of the discussion rather than assumptions about how it was written. Thank you!Sweetabena (talk) 15:51, 22 August 2025 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Elvis Justice Bedi
Hello Sweetabena, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Elvis Justice Bedi, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Elvis Justice Bedi.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Vgbyp}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
