RE:History moves
[edit ]Hmm. I'm not at all experienced in this realm, but seeing that when you move a page using the move command, the history isn't copied over; I'm guessing you don't need to in this case. However, I may be wrong. Cheers, Master of Puppets Giant Enemy Crab! 06:48, 8 June 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

A short Esperanzial update
[edit ]As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006年07月02日 and last until 2006年07月09日. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006年07月02日. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Cel es tianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

[edit ]To Thine Own Self Be True
Beware of hugging certain persons. All it does is make them more arrogant and hostile. And why don't you write me back? I apologized to you. You never apologized to me. Please don't tell me you have joined the enemy, Corbin. You are way too awesome a dude to something as terrible as that. remember me I'm not dead.
- One cannot fight a battle on multiple fronts. I have a job now, and I'm attempting to get into university. I regretfully do not have the spare time I would like, which is too bad considering that there is a fight which must someday be fought. More importantly, I have not forgotten. Fret not, for there will be judgement. Remember that I am not a savior or holy warrior — I can be banned just like anyone else. I apologize for not being able to express myself as I would like. No worries...right? - Corbin Be excellent 14:33, 3 July 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

Corbin's Workspace
[edit ]Yo. I'm more or less on a break from life right now, but I noticed your edit and wanted to thank you. That page is not very finished, clearly, and will take a long time to get right. For now, the page is unfinished, and is not likely to be finished soon. I'm working on a bit of a side project with Wiki, though, and will be adding it to my signature when finished. Thanks for the edit, though. It's nice to see other people working with arcane templates. Happy editing! - Corbin Be excellent 00:09, 12 July 2006 (UTC) [reply ]

I see that you are working on a familytree template-based version of this page. I converted one of the pages referenced externally, so there is a familytree based version on the page now, but it is not the original. As soon as I get another day to waste, I'll work some more. By the way, please don't delete the diagram out of your workspace; it is a lot more comprehensible than the previous version. Sorry if this message doesn't make much sense; its very late. —W. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Floater-band.jpg
[edit ]Thanks for uploading Image:Floater-band.jpg . However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:58, 2 January 2008 (UTC) [reply ]
James Penn
[edit ]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article James Penn, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod }}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author }}
to the top of James Penn.
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Wordinwine.png)
[edit ]Thanks for uploading Image:Wordinwine.png . The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:13, 26 March 2008 (UTC) [reply ]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
