She has a Master's degree in Philosophy and works as a Sr business analyst based out of Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, she is the founder of USA based South Asian luxury brand "Designer Dream Collection." She has designed many outfits for Bollywood Actresses including for Miss India and Miss bharat Ohio 2019 & 2020 beauty Pageants. Anjali was the official designer/partner of South Asian wedding show 2019 and her latest project included Designing "Miss Bharat Ohio" of 2019 & 2020. She is actively spreading awareness with the goal of bringing about social change. She feels strongly about several social causes like women rights, lgbtq rights and mental health awareness and is actively working towards several social issues and is fighting for change in society.

Anjali Phougat was born into a Punjabi family on 17 January 1982 in Gurugram India.. Her parents are Kesar Lal Dhingra, a former bank manager, while her mother, Neelam Dhingra, is a homemaker. She has four siblings, two sisters & two brothers. Phougat got married in Rohtak, into a Haryanvi family.

She has attended Maharishi Dayanand University in Rohtak and pursued masters degree in philosophy. Phougat studied Masters in Computer science from Maharishi Dayanand University and scored 96 percent in her exams and was the topper in the university, In 2000, Phougat won Miss Haryana crown where she also won the "Miss Photogenic" award, After winning the pageant, Phougat spoke of her dream for peace for this world, Phougat continued to pursue a career as a IT professional.

Phougat is fluent in Hindi and English, apart from her mother tongue Punjabi.

• To advocate for social issues and bring awareness., Anjali officially started Talk show in partnership with former bollywood actress Somy Ali Just A Conversation", They did shows with leading celebrities Sonu Nigam, Shakti Kapoor, Kalpana Iyer, Dabboo Ratnani & Sushant Divgikar.

• Phougat started her talkshow designerdreamcollection Diva Series in 2019 and Discussed several social issues with top leading celebrities like Dolly Jain, Shilpa Shirodkar, Madhoo, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Deepika Amin, Somy Ali, Sheeba Akashdeep, Shweta Kawatra and actively working on spreading awareness about mental health and uplifting others.

Miss Haryana 2000

• In April 2019, Phougat donated 5000 masks and PPE kits to ohio healthcare providers during the pandemic and joined initiative led by Columbus Fashion Council for the central Ohio hospitals and medical facilities due to the shortage created by COVID -19 to support front line workers ^[1]

• Phougat became involved with women's rights issues in South Asia. She worked towards collecting funds for victims of domestic violence and created fundraisers on social media to support non-profit organization No More Tears USA. Revenue from her clothing line, Designerdreamcollection is donated to multiple non-profit organizations to support social causes .

• Phougat voluntarily styled domestic violence victims for events and donated funds received from her Runway collection to Indian woman organization.

• Fashion line Designerdreamcollection donated a percentage of sales to multiple food hunger charities and supported the community.

• Phougat initiated designerdreamcollection mask mission in September 2019 and donated 100 percent of proceeds of mask sales to non profit organization no more tears USA and supported saving life of domestic violence victims.
