Template:Lead extra info
Appearance
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article's lead section contains information that is not included elsewhere in the article. If the information is appropriate for the lead of the article, this information should also be included in the body of the article. (February 2025) (Learn how and when to remove this message)
Usage
Place {{Lead extra info|date=February 2025}}
at the top of articles where the lead section contains information that is not mentioned elsewhere in the article.
- Use this template when a lead fact isn't discussed by the body at all
- Meanwhile, if the body does discuss the fact but fails to verify it, use {{Not verified in body }} instead
- Use this template regardless of whether the fact is verified (by the lead) or not. WP:LEADCITE allows for facts to be verified in the lead, but not for facts to only be discussed by the lead
Notes
- This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia introduction cleanup
