Tps are made from native people. They used them because they didn't have homes, so they built tp.

@Yappy2bhere: I believe my edit shouldn't have been reverted. Disambiguation pages do not usually have sources to justify which pages they link to. TP is an acronym that is often used in video games (eg see wiktionary:TP). I don't see how the frequency of TP occurances in the destination page is relevant. Would you prefer me to add more TP there?

If it's in Wiktionary then let's link to Wiktionary. The number of occurrences in Teleportation_in_fiction#Video_games is relevant for two reason, imo. First, because there is only one mention of TP in the target article, in connection with Second Life. The disambiguation link suggested a more general usage that isn't supported by the article. Second, the number will soon be zero without sourcing. "TP" was added as WP:OR ("Within the culture of Second Life residents typically shorten the word "teleport" to the letters: TP.") in a completely unsourced article creation .

Google currently says that TP usually refers to the Minecraft command "/tp" which is now synonymous with the "/teleport" command but wasn't always. If I suppress Minecraft results I see instances of a first usage of "teleport" that's subsequently shortened to "TP", establishing a context for the abbreviation so its meaning is clear. You see what I mean, SD?

So, remove the ones that fail and go ahead and add the ones that do. Although please keep the descriptions brief--the description only needs to be enough to distinguish between the items on the dab page--there's no need to include extraneous details. Also, where the term is only mentioned in one section of an article, it may be clearer to link directly to that section as described in MOS:DABMENTION. Also avoid including unambiguous partial title matches. There is nothing to suggest Diemech TP 100 is known as simply 'TP'. older ≠ wiser 14:12, 18 May 2026 (UTC) Reply
