I don ́t understand why explicits "castillian spanish" but no "british english". Doesn ́t appears a latin spanish version to keep that term. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.55.140.236 (talk) 17:20, 22 July 2016 (UTC) Reply

Dear, darling Stephen

Latest comment: 17 years ago 2 comments2 people in discussion

In one episode of this thing, when Pocoyo was fiddling around with something that opened up to reveal itself as a tent, the dear chap Stephen Fry declared, "You're going camping! I just love camping!"

I wonder if this may have been deliberate. Also if, whenever, as he often does, Stephen has to say "You've upset your friends now, Pocoyo...", he's thinking of his own sundered partnership with Hugh Laurie. Dolmance (talk) 11:27, 14 January 2008 (UTC) Reply

Series vs Seasons

Is it actually 2 separate series that have been produced, and if so, what is the difference? Or should it read Seasons?--JeffJ (talk) 23:55, 20 May 2008 (UTC) Reply

See the second paragraph of Television program: "Americans call a short run lasting less than a year a season; People of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland call this a series." :) -- Quiddity (talk) 05:25, 21 May 2008 (UTC) Reply

Elly?

How do you know Elly is male? (She) is more female-like. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.190.7.91 (talk) 20:40, 22 March 2010 (UTC) Reply

The Spanish language has gender built into it, and whenever Elly is described in the Spanish language episodes, she is described as "ella", or a she. Demf (talk) 16:55, 25 April 2010 (UTC) Reply
By that rule, Sleepy Bird is male. It's always referd to as "he" in the Spanish version.
How can Sleepy Bird be male, if it lays eggs? In Portuguese, Elly is referred to as "she". And she does girlie things like playing with dolls and tea parties and all. ([[User talk:Hatredman|Hatredman) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.81.240.239 (talk) 19:47, 27 September 2014 (UTC) Reply

Produced in...

Latest comment: 14 years ago 2 comments2 people in discussion

RTVE's web video service for children ( http://www.rtve.es/infantil/videos-juegos/#/videos/clan/todos/ ) was accessible outside Spain few days ago. I had a chance to watch Pocoyo in Spanish. They offered it in both Spanish and English. It was recorded from a television broadcast. (It had a TVE2 logo and a clock)

Intro was displayed in English, not in Spanish, even in the Spanish television broadcast. And, Pocoyo's mouth is synchronised with his English voice. So I think, while produced in Spain, Pocoyo was produced in English first. -- JSH-alive talkcontmail 13:39, 6 July 2010 (UTC) Reply

The fourth paragraph sums where Pocoyo can be seen in the United States. The second sentence it begins "Currently, episodes of the show were made available" This should be changed to "As of 11/14/2020" Pocoyo can be viewed on Netflix and for no additional cost on Amazon Prime." Adobe Flash?

I don't think this show was created with Flash, as I don't think Flash even supports 3D.

The attached citation doesn't say anything about Flash either.. SuperJimmy22 (talk) 04:07, 27 April 2021 (UTC) Reply

I changed it to Softimage XSI, which is what the source says. (CC) Tbhotch TM 04:54, 27 April 2021 (UTC) Reply
It was storyboarded in flash, but was animated in Softimage XSI (first 3 seasons) and Maya (Seasons 4-present) BloxianAccount123 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 00:57, 23 January 2022 (UTC) Reply

Pocoyo also aired on the (now defunct) South African channel K-T.V. Could someone add that? 47.36.25.163 (talk) 16:25, 7 January 2022 (UTC) Reply

I would if I could, but since Flash is no longer supported, I can't use the Wayback Machine to get links from the site. You'll have to take my word for it. 47.36.25.163 (talk) 22:16, 7 January 2022 (UTC) Reply
